Description

Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Orthopedics and Bariatrics, as well as a background in Telemetry nursing. This position involves working in the Surgical Specialty unit.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in the Surgical Specialty unit.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Utilize the Pyxis medication system for efficient medication management.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor patient conditions and provide updates to the healthcare team.

Qualifications

Must possess at least 1 year of experience using the EPIC electronic health record system.
Required certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- Active South Carolina RN License
Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing required, with 3 years of experience specifically in the MS/Tele specialty necessary for first-time travelers.
Float to other units or nearby hospitals may be required as needed.

Schedule

This position offers a day shift of 3x12-hour schedules, running from 07:00 to 19:30.
