Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Critical Care Float Pool. This position involves providing care across multiple units, including CVICU, NICU, and PICU, at various locations within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to promote health and well-being.
- Deliver professional nursing care appropriate to patients' ages and conditions, following established nursing and medical plans of care.
- Adhere to evidence-based nursing practices, hospital goals, values, and regulatory standards.
Position Details
This assignment will float between the following locations:
- Phoenix, AZ
- Glendale, AZ
- Avondale, AZ
- Gilbert, AZ
Available shifts include daily rotations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Shift assignments will be determined during the interview process. Only requested time off discussed in the interview will be pre-approved.
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in pediatric critical care.
- Experience in a Level III or IV NICU is preferred.
- Experience in a children's health setting is preferred.
Education Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or a Nursing Diploma.
Certification and Licensure
- Current Arizona RN license or RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges.
- Ability to establish licensure in accordance with Arizona law prior to the start date.
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
- Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Current Advanced NRP certification.
Additional Information
COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination is required from October through April, with exemption applications needing approval before starting. Unvaccinated individuals for either Flu or COVID-19 must sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and wear masks during the respiratory virus season.
