Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This is a night shift position requiring a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts
- Shift Timing: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Patient Ratios: 1:5
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-call Requirement: Yes, but rare, limited to the first 4 hours if needed
Responsibilities
The MS/Tele RN will be responsible for:
- Providing direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit.
- Monitoring patient conditions and vital signs, and communicating any concerns to the healthcare team.
- Administering medications and treatments as per physician orders.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Floating to other units as necessary to meet facility needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
- Active SC or multi-state/compact RN license.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS; NIHSS preferred.
- Proficient in using Epic for electronic charting.
Additional Information
- Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Block scheduling is subject to managerial approval based on unit needs.
- Guaranteed hours may be subject to facility policy, with potential for one shift cancellation every two weeks.

Please note that all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. If this poses a concern, please do not confirm new or extended assignments during these months.
