We are seeking a skilled Imaging Support IR Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in vascular and interventional radiology (IR) procedures, with a focus on being actively involved in the entire case workflow. The position offers flexible start dates and is open to both 5x8 or 4x10 schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and order cases in EPIC prior to procedures.
• Operate the table and controls during procedures.
• Perform 3D imaging and utilize fusion technology.
• Engage actively throughout the procedure, including filming and post-processing images.
• Use HI-IQ to document and manage inventory utilized during cases.
• Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, the OR team, and other procedural team members.
• Support simple surgical cases during downtime using a C-arm, assisting with procedures such as Impellas and cystoscopy.

Qualifications

• BLS certification and ARRT registration required.
• A Virginia state license required; applicants may submit with a pending license application if licensed in another state.
• Comfortable with the full workflow of procedures, not limited to equipment operation.
• Strong experience in vascular IR and familiarity with Hybrid OR procedures is essential.
• Ability to work independently within a dynamic team environment.

Schedule and Call Responsibilities

The position offers a schedule of 5x8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) with rotating call every fourth week.

Additional Information

This role is vital to supporting the imaging needs within the operating room for vascular interventional radiology cases. Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of the assignment location.
