Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Imaging Support Interventional Radiology Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in vascular and interventional radiology, along with a commitment to being actively involved in the entire case workflow. This position entails working closely with vascular surgeons and the procedural team to ensure high-quality imaging support during interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in pulling inventory and ordering cases in EPIC prior to procedures.
- Operate the imaging table and controls during procedures.
- Perform 3D imaging spins and work with fusion technology.
- Actively engage in the procedure room, including filming and post-processing images.
- Utilize HI-IQ to document and add inventory used during cases.
- Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, the OR team, and other procedural team members.
- Support simple surgical cases using a C-arm during downtime, assisting in procedures such as Impellas and cystoscopies.
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification required.
- ARRT certification required.
- Valid VA license required, but candidates may apply with a pending license. Eligibility for a temporary license is available provided licensure in another state.
- Strong experience in vascular and interventional radiology procedures is essential.
- Familiarity with Hybrid OR procedures is preferred.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
This position operates on a 5x8-hour schedule, with some flexibility for start dates. Shift hours are from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM, with rotating call duties approximately every fourth week.
Additional Information
