Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Imaging Support Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This role involves active participation in the entire case workflow, providing essential support within the operating room during vascular interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pull inventory and order cases in EPIC prior to procedures.
• Operate the table and controls during procedures.
• Perform 3D spins and work with fusion technology.
• Engage actively in the room throughout procedures, including filming and post-processing images.
• Utilize HI-IQ for documentation and inventory management during cases.
• Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, the operating room team, and other procedural team members.
• During downtime, support simpler surgical cases using a C-arm alongside X-ray staff, including procedures such as Impellas and cystostomies.

Qualifications

• Valid BLS and ARRT certification required.
• Virginia state license required, with the option to submit with pending application.
• Eligible for a temporary license if licensed in another state; timeframe for engagement approximately 8 weeks.
• Strong background in vascular and interventional radiology preferred.
• Familiarity with Hybrid OR procedures and independent workflow management is essential.

Schedule

This position typically offers 5x8-hour shifts from 07:30 to 16:00, with rotating call every fourth week. Flexibility for start dates is available.
