Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our MS/Tele Cardiac Unit. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional looking to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to patients on the Cardiac unit.
• Administer cardiac drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6 to 1:7.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations.

Qualifications

• Active and in good standing Registered Nurse license (Compact or Alabama license required).
• Experience with cardiac drips is mandatory.
• Current BLS and NIH certifications are required.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
• Must be able to work 36 or 48 hours per week with a commitment to every other weekend.

Additional Information

• Shift: Night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00 - 07:00).
• 16 hours of non-billable orientation is included.
• COVID vaccination is required unless a documented religious or medical exemption is provided.
• Flu vaccination is also required unless a documented religious or medical exemption is provided.
