Description

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The role of the Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) involves providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for a range of duties including rapid assessment, triage, trauma management, and administering advanced life support in various medical conditions.

Shift Details

Schedule: 36 hours weekly
Shift: Night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Rotation: Weekend rotations required

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in emergency room settings
Certifications required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - preferred

Required Skills

Expertise in rapid patient assessment and triage
Trauma management skills
Advanced life support proficiency in various medical conditions
Expert IV access and other medical interventions
