Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Respiratory Care Services team. The ideal candidate will be motivated to collaborate effectively with colleagues and provide exceptional care to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.
  • Participate in patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions and treatment options.

Requirements

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification is mandatory.
  • Availability to work weekends, with scheduling frequency typically not exceeding every other weekend.
  • Willingness to limit requests for time off and to work during holidays as required.

Call Requirements

  • For 36-hour contracts, there may be up to 2 call shifts within a 6-week schedule.
  • Travelers are required to be on call for night shifts from 4 PM to 8 PM only.
  • No more than one call shift will be scheduled in any single week.

Shift Information

The position is primarily for night shifts, working 3 twelve-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
