About the Position
We are seeking a qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. This position involves working in a Free-Standing Emergency Room and Urgent Care facility, offering high-quality emergency medical care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Perform assessments, develop nursing care plans, and implement care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver effective care.
- Handle emergencies and critical situations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic charting systems.
Position Details
- Shift: 3x12 hours, Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), Sunday through Saturday depending on needs
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- Floating Requirement: No
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency room nursing.
- Licensure: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - AHA
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- Preferred Certifications: CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
- Special Requirements: Epic experience is required.

- Local Radius: 60 miles; no locals accepted.
- Block Schedule: Accommodation requests can be made but are not guaranteed.
- Hurricane Season: Travelers should note the potential for assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June - November).
