We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong Orthopedic knowledge, particularly in total joints, gynecology, and general surgery. This role involves supporting various surgical procedures and ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of the operating room and ensure it is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Work closely with the surgical team during procedures, anticipating the needs of surgeons and the surgical staff.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow all safety protocols to guarantee patient safety.
• Participate in cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment after procedures.
• Help with patient positioning and comfort during various surgical interventions.

Schedule

• Evening rotating shifts, with start times at 9 AM, 11 AM, or 3 PM.
• Flexibility to work days, starting at 7 AM as needed.
• Two short calls and two calls for weekend/weeknights per four-week schedule.
• Overnight weekday call once a week, and weekend coverage monthly.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related work experience required, with a strong emphasis on Orthopedics and total joints, gynecology, and general surgery.
• Experience in a teaching hospital setting is preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively within a surgical team.

Orientation is provided weekly, and the start date is as soon as compliance requirements are completed. We encourage interested candidates to submit their availability for interviews alongside their application.
