Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Tech (CST) to join our operating room team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Scrub in and provide assistance during surgeries, ensuring a sterile environment.
- Monitor and manage surgical instruments and supplies.
- Collaborate with the surgical team, including surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff.
- Comply with safety and health regulations.
Schedule
Work schedule includes 4 shifts of 10 hours each per week with a rotating call schedule. Holiday coverage is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surgical Tech.
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
- Current CST certification from a recognized organization (NBSTSA, AST, NCCT).
- Active Colorado Certified Surgical Tech (CST) License with the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Proof of current flu vaccination is required.
Experience Requirements
Candidates should have experience in the following areas:
- Orthopedics, including total joints
- Neuro/Spine procedures
- Robotic surgeries
- Urology
- Gynecology
- Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)
- Plastic surgery
- Trauma
