We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus in Orthopedics to join our high-acuity healthcare team. This position requires a strong background in orthopedic nursing and experience in a Level I Trauma Center.

Job Details

• Work Schedule: 48 hours per week on night shifts (12-hour shifts)
• Patient Care Ratio: 1:12, with team support comprising 2 RNs, 2 LPNs, a Charge Nurse, and a Medication Nurse
• Weekend Requirements: Rotational weekend shifts as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to orthopedic patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in orthopedic nursing.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma environment is required.
• Strong travel experience is preferred.
• Prior experience in large hospital settings is necessary.
• Compliance with NLC guidelines is mandatory for all candidates.

• Recent orthopedic experience is essential.
