Description

Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist is responsible for planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments for patients experiencing injuries, or issues related to muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases. The ultimate goal is to restore function, alleviate pain, and prevent disabilities.

Responsibilities:

Assess patient conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
Administer therapies to improve patients' mobility and function.
Monitor and document patient progress using electronic medical records.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and home care strategies.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Occasionally cover inpatient services as needed.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy.
Experience in orthopedic and neuro therapy, as well as both inpatient and outpatient care.
Proficient with electronic medical records, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Experience using EPIC electronic health record system is preferred.

Additional Information:

This position may require holiday coverage and occasional weekend shifts.
Candidates should have a valid physical therapy license in the state of Montana.
Located in a region known for its outdoor recreational opportunities, research housing options before making a decision due to limited availability.
