Position Overview

This position is for a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The role involves working nights and requires flexibility to accommodate various scheduling needs, including holidays and every other weekend.

Shift Details

• Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7 PM to 7 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-call Requirement: No

Nursing Unit Information

• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Total Beds: 54
• Floating: Expected to float within scope to meet facility needs

Qualifications

• Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• Licenses Required: South Carolina or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Special Requirements:
  • IV start skills are required
  • Experience with Telemetry and management of cardiac drips is preferred

• Guaranteed Hours: Facility reserves the right to call off one shift every two weeks
