Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a Med-Surg/Tele unit. This position is ideal for those looking to work in a dynamic environment with a diverse patient population.
Position Details
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, Days (07:00 - 19:30)
- Frequency: Every Other Weekend (EOW) and holidays as needed
- Floating: Required across multiple locations if necessary
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with various medical conditions, including respiratory issues, general surgical diagnoses, palliative care, and hospice patients.
- Manage care for new diabetics and those with complications related to diabetes.
- Monitor and assess psychiatric observation patients.
- Utilize EPIC software for patient documentation and management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Traveler will be required to pass an EKG exam during the onboarding process.
- Previous experience as a Charge RN is preferred.
