This position requires night shifts from 1900 to 0730 with rotating weekends.
Job Description
The Emergency Department provides care to patients with a range of needs, from non-critical to urgent medical conditions, including mental health emergencies. All patients are welcome, whether they arrive on foot or by emergency transport. The staff within the Emergency Department are trained and certified to manage critical cardiac and trauma cases, including those involving children.
Experience, Education, and Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license is required upon submission.
- Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required.
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent is required to comply with College of American Pathologists (CAP) standards for moderate complexity testing.
Holiday Coverage
Holiday coverage is required for this position.
Minimum Years of Experience
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant field is required.
