We are seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MRI technology and patient care, with specific expertise in adult outpatient settings and musculoskeletal procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced MRI technology for patient imaging, focusing on spine and musculoskeletal diagnoses.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required for imaging procedures.
• Ensure the highest standards of radiation safety and patient care are maintained.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide accurate and timely imaging results.
• Participate in orientation and training sessions as necessary to stay current with technology and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Previous traveler experience is not accepted for this position.
• Certifications required: BLS and ARRT MR.
• Strong skills in conducting MRI scans of the cervical, lumbar, sacrum/coccyx, and thoracic spine.
• Proficient in using VISAGE PACS and EPIC systems.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
• Experience with starting peripheral IVs.

Job Details

• Average Daily Census: 25 patients; 2 rooms.
• Available Shift Length: Full-time positions offered in 8-hour shifts, with typical hours of 07:00 - 15:30 and 09:00 - 17:30, alternating.
• Maximum allowable RTO (Requested Time Off) is 7 days for auto offers.
• No call, float, or weekend requirements.

Patient Population

This position primarily serves adult and geriatric patients, focusing on spine-related diagnoses and imaging.

Attire

Scrubs are not provided; navy blue scrubs are required for this position.
