Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology Technician to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, particularly in emergency department and operating room settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations with precision and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations regarding radiologic procedures.
- Maintain and operate mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care in acute clinical settings.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while conducting imaging procedures.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification required.
- Must possess a valid IEMA license with fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technician preferred.
- Experience in emergency departments (ED) and operating rooms (OR) is highly desirable.
- Current BCLS certification from AHA required.
- Proficient computer skills required.
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
- One year of acute clinical radiology experience preferred.
Skills
- Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Work Schedule
This position offers night shifts. Flexibility regarding work hours and the ability to work on weekends and holidays is appreciated.
