Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a day shift basis, working Monday through Friday. This role is ideal for both experienced therapists and new graduates who possess their certification and have prior experience in pediatrics as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to pediatric outpatient patients with a diverse range of diagnoses.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions to meet developmental goals.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and techniques to enhance recovery.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records utilizing EPIC.

Qualifications

• Must hold certification as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in pediatric settings preferred; new graduates with relevant pediatric experience will be considered.
• Familiarity with acute care and outpatient clinic environments is beneficial.
• EPIC experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Must reside more than 25 miles from the facility.

Schedule

This position involves a full-time schedule of either 38.5 to 40 hours per week, working between 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM from Monday to Thursday and 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Fridays. Availability on Fridays is required, but a 4-day work schedule may be considered.
