Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Orthopedics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Details:
- Start Date: 11/2/26
- Contract Length: 16 weeks
- Shift: Days (3x12 or 4x12, 0700 - 1930)
- Weekly Hours: 36 to 48 hours accepted
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to orthopedic and joint replacement patients.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning.
- Float within the specialty and to sister facilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted with strong medical/surgical and orthopedic experience.
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- BLS certification required; ACLS, CPI, and NIH certifications preferred.
Work Environment:
- Patient Ratio: 1:6.
- Patient Age Range: Adults to Geriatrics.
- Holiday work required as scheduled.
- Weekend work required every other weekend.
