Registered Nurse (RN) - Trauma Surgical ICU

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Trauma Surgical ICU will provide comprehensive clinical care for patients undergoing surgical and trauma treatment. This position requires a strong background in critical care nursing, with a focus on the unique needs of this patient population.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care to Surgical and Trauma ICU patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes in status promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Current and valid Ohio nursing license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in Trauma or Surgical ICU.

Physical Environment/Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk throughout the workday.
• Capability to lift, push, and pull weights up to 250 lbs. with assistance.

Shift Information
