Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech to join our team. This position requires a commitment to providing top-quality surgical support and patient care. The role involves working four 10-hour days each week and includes weekend and weeknight calls.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams by preparing the operating room and ensuring all surgical instruments and supplies are sterile and ready for use.
• Support surgeons and other medical staff during procedures by handling instruments, suctioning, and providing necessary materials as requested.
• Maintain a clean and organized surgical environment in adherence to safety and sanitation protocols.
• Participate in patient care by monitoring patient status and assisting in the transfer and positioning of patients during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care and efficient workflow during surgical operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech.
• Current certification as an OR Tech / Surgical Tech.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing situations.
