Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurses (RNs) for an Adult Inpatient Unit. The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients with mental health needs and work within a team to ensure high-quality treatment.

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care to patients in the Adult Inpatient Unit.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor patient progress and document observations accurately.
Provide patient and family education regarding mental health issues and treatment options.
May float to the Emergency Room or Medical-Surgical units as needed.

Schedule

Shift options: 3x12-hour nights or 4x12-hour nights.
Block schedules are available.
Requires a commitment to work every other weekend (EOW).

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Behavioral Health or a related field.
Prior travel nursing experience is required.
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively in emergencies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Start Date

Ideal candidates will be available to start within the next 3-5 weeks.
