Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurses to join our Adult Inpatient Unit. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, focusing on the care of adult patients with behavioral health needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in an inpatient setting.
• Maintain 1:8 nurse-to-patient ratios to ensure effective supervision and care.
• Support patients through psychiatric assessments, treatment plans, and interventions.
• Monitor vital signs, medication administration, and progress of treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes.
• May float to the Emergency Room or Medical-Surgical units as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently licensed Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a behavioral health setting is required.
• Travel nursing experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule of 36 or 48 hours per week, alternating between day shifts.
• Availability to start within the next 3-5 weeks is preferred.

Work Schedule

• Shift: 3x12-Hour Days (07:00 - 20:00) or 4x12-Hour Days (07:00 - 20:00)
• Block scheduling is available.
• Every other weekend (EOW) commitment is required.
