Shift Information

• Day shift: 3 - 12 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver high-quality patient care in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry specialty. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for is required.
• Valid permanent Ohio license or compact state license is mandatory.
• AHA or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records is a must.
• One recent reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty is required for submission.

Assessment Requirements

During orientation, the RN will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a SafeMedicate assessment. An acceptable score on both assessments is necessary to proceed.

Holiday Commitment

The RN is expected to work at least every other holiday.
