Position Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department team. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to both adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts
• Hours: 06:30 AM - 07:00 PM
• Rotation: Weekend rotation and every other holiday

Assignment Duration

The unit is open to considering 4x12 hour shifts and assignments lasting up to 26 weeks for interested travelers.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Support patients and families through education and emotional support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Emergency Department, with experience in both adult and pediatric populations within the last three years.
• Current Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license required.
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS – AHA ONLY required.
• Ability to pass a Telemetry test prior to starting the position.
