We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report any changes to the appropriate medical staff.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required; 5+ years preferred.
• Current nursing license in Mississippi or a compact nursing license.
• BLS certification (AHA) required; ACLS certification preferred.

Schedule:

This position requires working alternating schedules, including:

• 4 shifts of 12 hours per week (48 hours) followed by 3 shifts of 12 hours (36 hours).
• 4x12s: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday.
• 3x12s: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Additional Information:

• No on-call responsibilities.
• Work every other weekend.
• Holidays may be required if they fall on scheduled shifts.
