We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with a focus on Medical-Surgical care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing quality patient care and meet the qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical setting.
• Monitor patient health status and manage treatments effectively.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing required; 5+ years preferred.
• Current nursing license in Mississippi or a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.

Work Schedule:

The position offers a variable schedule: 4x12 hour shifts one week (totaling 48 hours) followed by 3x12 hour shifts the next week (totaling 36 hours). The 4x12 schedule includes shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, while the 3x12 schedule includes shifts on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend, and employees will work holidays if they fall on scheduled shifts. There is no call requirement.
