Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our long-term care team. This position involves providing high-quality care to residents in a nursing home setting, following essential protocols and procedures.

Shift Details

Schedule: Day shifts with 8-hour rotations from 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM.
Every other weekend rotation and some holiday shifts required.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Utilize Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR) for effective communication during hand-offs.
Implement AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) to enhance patient interactions.
Conduct hourly rounding to ensure resident satisfaction and safety.
Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff, including CNA and Med Techs.

Qualifications

Current RN license required.
BLS certification from AHA is required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care is required.

Staffing Details

1 RN per hall, with 1 Med Tech assigned per hall.
CNA staffing ratio of 1:8-10 on day shifts, and 1:20 on night shifts.
