Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract. This role involves rotating day/night shifts every 6 weeks, with a total of 36 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work every other weekend (Friday and Saturday for nights or Saturday and Sunday for days) and will be expected to work every other holiday.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to postpartum and antepartum patients.
- Float within the skill set, including NICU, to care for level II nursery patients.
- Utilize Epic for electronic health records and patient documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement patient care plans effectively.
Qualifications
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required.
- Valid Virginia nursing license pending submission is acceptable.
- Ability to commit to a flexible schedule, including weekend and holiday shifts.
- Experience in postpartum, antepartum, and NICU nursing is preferred.
Additional Information
Up to 40 hours of requested time off (RTO) can be approved. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
