Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a commitment to working nights, including weekends and holidays, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.

• Years of Experience: 2 to 5 years in Emergency Department / Critical Care with a minimum of 1 year of travel experience

Education & Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
• NISHH (National Institute for Safety and Health)

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 20 beds with 3 Behavioral Health beds and 2 Triage rooms (currently under construction)
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 to 5:1
• Equipment: Standard for Emergency Care
• EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile

• Must Have Skills/Experience: 2 to 5 years in Emergency Department / Critical Care
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience with Emergency Department patients
• Personality Fit: A team-oriented approach, flexibility, and excellent communication and documentation skills

• Scrub Color: Any solid color
• Unacceptable Attire: Unprofessional attire is not permitted

Additional Information

• This Emergency Department is a Joint Commission Certified Stroke Center.
• The unit is undergoing construction, requiring flexibility and adaptability to workflow changes.
• The department includes a locked space for behavioral health with 3 dedicated beds, as well as medical/psych swing beds.
