Job Description

This position follows a clinical interview process. Candidates can expect outreach within two hours—via phone and text where applicable—with decisions typically made the same day or by the next business day. Applicants seeking more than 7 days off, more than 50% of holidays off, or with a negative background or employment history may experience an altered processing timeline.

The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. This role requires collaboration with other members of the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing standards. Responsibilities include directing, coordinating, and delegating activities to foster patient and family-centered care.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plan and implement nursing care based on patient and family needs.
• Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assume personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.

Work Schedule:

• 3/12 shifts with a 36-hour guarantee (4/12 shifts not available).
• Every other weekend commitment is required.
• No on-call responsibilities.

Qualification Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in nursing is required.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment is required.
• Experience with Paragon EMR is preferred.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Active Michigan nursing license at the time of application is required.

Attendance Policy:

Please note that there is a strict attendance policy. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift three times will be terminated immediately, with certain circumstances reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
