Description
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This position requires specialized expertise in interventional radiology procedures and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Interventional Radiology procedures as a scrub and circulator.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices used for pulmonary embolism and stroke treatment.
- Perform angiographic procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Work independently in IR procedure rooms and manage trauma certifications.
- Participate in weekend, day shift, and on-call coverage as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Current CT and IR certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Registered Technologist (RT) with a valid state Radiology License.
- Experience with GE and Siemens imaging equipment.
- Vocational or Technical training in Radiologic Technology is required.
- Ability to handle weekend and on-call responsibilities effectively.
Additional Information
Orientation sessions are conducted weekly, allowing for smooth integration into the team and workflow. Candidates are expected to present any time-off requests at the time of submission.
