Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing therapeutic services to both inpatient and outpatient clients, ensuring optimal patient care and rehabilitation outcomes. This position requires a strong background in occupational therapy, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patient mobility and function.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate patient records.
• Support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy certification preferred.
• AOTA and OTAC membership preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting.

Work Environment

This position involves working with a variety of patients, including those in critical access settings, orthopedic care, and cardiac rehabilitation. Flexibility regarding weekend and holiday availability is required based on departmental needs. The dress code includes scrubs, with no specific colors mandated.
