Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. This position involves working nights on either a 3x12 or 4x12 schedule, with shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Floating is required based on unit needs, and weekend coverage will be necessary on an every-other-weekend basis, subject to unit demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the LTAC MS/Tele unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions using the Omnicell medication system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Adapt to the fluid needs of the unit by floating as necessary to other areas of the facility.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in LTAC, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry nursing.
• Experience in Progressive Care Units (PCU) is required.
• A current and active South Carolina nursing license is mandatory.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with the EPIC electronic health record system is essential.
