Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in an Intermediate Care (IMC) setting. This position requires a commitment to provide high-quality patient care during evening and night shifts, with a focus on telemetry and critical care.

Shift Details

Shift: Night, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Monday through Friday with alternating weekends and some holidays required
Mandatory work on December 24th and 25th

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care in both the Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and the Thoracic unit.
Monitor and assess patient conditions using telemetry and other advanced technologies.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans.
Perform patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records.
Participate in patient and family education.

Qualifications

Valid Wisconsin RN license and compact RN license required.
Minimum of two years of experience in telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown units.
Experience with ventilators and transplant patients is essential.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are mandatory.
Ability to pass a telemetry test prior to start date.
