This position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a compassionate environment. The role includes various responsibilities essential for the well-being of patients in rehabilitation.

Shift Information

• Shifts: D/E
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Shift Hours: 0600-1900

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid WA State or Compact RN Licensure.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Adherence to unit standards and relevant nursing practice acts is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process and established standards.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care; continuously reassess plans as needed.
• Administer medications and carry out nursing procedures and treatments safely.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations of discharge plans, ensuring appropriateness and addressing educational needs.
• Document patient care, assessments, care plans, interventions, and responses accurately.
• Collect and review patient information to ensure safe and effective nursing care.
• Perform holistic assessments of patient status and respond accordingly.
• Complete necessary nursing actions to fulfill the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of patients.
• Provide education to patients, families, and significant others regarding health matters in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on workflows, processes, and evidence-based practices in nursing.
• Delegate tasks effectively and supervise care delivered by non-licensed assistive personnel.
• Engage in performance evaluation and improvement initiatives with management.
• Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff in accordance with policies.

This position may require floating between different locations and roles, including providing sitter services as needed.
