Description
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in performing MRI scans and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Shift Information
This position requires day shift availability.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans as per established protocols.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain MRI equipment and assist with troubleshooting as necessary.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services.
- Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately.
Call Requirements
The role includes a rotation for on-call duties, averaging one week every six weeks.
Licenses and Certifications
The following licenses and certifications are required:
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS Card
- ACLS Certification
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI technology or related field.
- Proficiency in MRI imaging techniques and patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Requirements
- Experience with electrocardiology and cardiac services is a plus.
- Knowledge of the latest imaging technologies and methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
