Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position involves working in a short-term acute care setting and is designed for professionals who are committed to providing exceptional respiratory care services.

Shift Details

• Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
• Rotating Weekends Required

Responsibilities

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for the following:

• Administering respiratory therapy treatments and procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitoring and evaluating patient progress, adjusting care as necessary.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educating patients and their families on respiratory health and care management.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and complying with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee License required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy is required.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS is required.
• NRP certification is preferred but not required; nursery experience is helpful.
• No first-timers accepted.
• Must adhere to a smoke-free environment.
• Tattoos below the neck are permitted; inappropriate tattoos must be covered.
• Earrings other than those worn in the ears must be removed while on duty.
• Flu/COVID declination accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Additional Information

• Guaranteed hours may vary, with a call-off policy of 12 hours per 2 weeks.
• This position does not float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Block scheduling is not available.
• Local candidates are not accepted; applicants must be willing to travel.
