Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for an assignment ranging from 13 to 26 weeks. This position offers flexible scheduling options, including 5x8 or 4x10 day shifts, based on traveler preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care in outpatient, acute care, and long-term care (LTC)/skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings.
• Assist patients with rehabilitation, ensuring optimal recovery and quality of life.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification is required.
• No first-time travelers accepted.
• Preference for candidates who have not worked as permanent staff within the same organization for the past 3 months.

Additional Information

• This position does not require on-call duties.
• Candidates can be considered for a block schedule.
• Local candidates are not accepted; a permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Time off requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis upon formal offer.
• Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks, with the potential for cancellation of one 8-hour shift within the same timeframe.

Housing Information

Housing accommodations will be provided for travelers during the assignment. Typical housing consists of one-bedroom apartments, available for move-in no earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and no later than 24 hours after it ends. Please note the following:

• Pets are not allowed.
• Housing units are designed to accommodate only the traveler; any additional family members must be approved.
• Travelers must ensure the housing unit is cleaned upon departure to avoid additional cleaning fees.

This role involves serving within a department that caters to inpatient, swing bed, long-term care, and outpatient services.
