Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. This role offers a variety of scheduling options, including 5x8 or 4x10 shifts, and a contract length of 13 or 26 weeks, based on the clinician's choice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients across various settings, including Outpatient, Acute Care, and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary using Epic charting.
• Participate in wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric therapy specialties as required.

Qualifications

• Active AK Physical Therapy License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Preferred experience includes working with pediatrics and adolescents, though not required.

Work Environment

This position is within a critical access healthcare environment serving patients of all ages and diagnoses. The therapy department is equipped to handle outpatients, inpatients, and skilled nursing patients.

Scheduling and Hours

This position guarantees 70 hours of work over a two-week period, with the possibility of being called off for one 10-hour shift during that timeframe. There are no weekend requirements, and clinicians will not be required to float outside of their scope to meet facility needs.

Housing Information

Housing options are provided for travelers during the assignment, typically in 1-bedroom apartments. Housing is available for move-in no earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and no longer than 24 hours after the contract ends. Please note that pets are not allowed, and the housing unit must be cleaned upon departure to avoid additional fees.

Additional Information

• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Pending licenses are not accepted for this position.
• Requests for time off (RTO) will be accommodated based on availability.
