We are currently seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team. This position offers the flexibility of a 5x8 or 4x10 day shift schedule, with a choice of a 13 or 26-week contract. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve patient mobility and function.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary in accordance with facility guidelines.
• Participate in patient care team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Must possess an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Alaska.
• Pediatric and adolescent experience is preferred, but not required.

Additional Information

• This role does not require on-call duty or weekend work.
• Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks, with the possibility of being called off for one 10-hour shift during that period.
• Traveling clinicians will have the opportunity to float between different patient care areas as needed.
• Housing is provided for travelers, typically in 1-bedroom apartments. Please note that pets are not allowed and additional family members may require prior approval.
• The facility will cover housing arrangements for travel professionals starting no earlier than 72 hours prior to the contract and ending no later than 24 hours after the contract concludes.
