Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in a Med Surg/Tele unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment specializing in vascular and urology patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a typical patient load of 5-6 med-surgical patients with an average length of stay of 1-2 days.
• Perform dressing changes and provide care for patients with wound vacs and drains.
• Receive patients from the PACU, ICU, and ED.
• Coordinate with support staff to ensure quality care delivery under RN supervision.
• Float as necessary to other units, maintaining qualifications and competencies.
• Participate in patient education and interdisciplinary care planning.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license.
• Minimum of one year of Epic experience.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Med Surg/Tele experience is mandatory, with previous experience in urology and vascular care preferred.
• Ability to pass EKG exam as part of pre-start modules.

Shift Requirements

• Full-time, 3x12 hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30).
• Floating is required to other units as needed.
• Weekend coverage is required on an alternating schedule, subject to change based on operational needs.
