We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing quality patient care in the surgical setting.

Position Overview

The OR RN will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care in the operating room, collaborating with surgical teams, and ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment. This position requires dedicated professionals with strong clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgery.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a sterile environment.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes during surgical procedures.
• Assist with surgical procedures and maintain appropriate levels of supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room setting.
• Charge experience is required.
• Pediatric OR experience is preferred.
• Ability to scrub is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with neuro, ortho, ENT, general, and eyes surgical procedures is required.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically EPIC.
• Must be nicotine-free and able to undergo testing.

Schedule

This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts. A combination of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts may be available, but 12-hour shifts are not an option.
