Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our outpatient therapy team. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient settings and will be prepared to provide excellent patient care. The physical therapist will also assist with acute coverage when necessary to ensure continuity of patient care and optimal service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality outpatient physical therapy services to patients with orthopedic, neurological, and cardiac diagnoses.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement Home Exercise Programs and provide patient and family education to enhance recovery.
• Work with a diverse patient population, addressing various conditions such as:
• Orthopedic conditions including cervicalgia, low back pain, post-operative surgeries, total hip and knee replacements.
• Neurologic conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, cognitive disorders, and post-stroke rehabilitation.
• Generalized weakness and cardiac rehabilitation needs.
• Support patients in rehabilitation from traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge in assessment, body mechanics, and evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Schedule

This position is a full-time role with a schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Weekend work is not required.
