Shift Information

Available shifts include days and nights, and may require working on weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a Med-Surg Registered Nurse for a critical access hospital in Kohala, Hawaii. The position involves providing high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring optimal outcomes through efficient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in alignment with established standards and protocols.
Monitor patients' conditions, administer medications, and assist with diagnostic procedures.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
Document patient care and share updates with relevant healthcare team members.
Educate patients and their families on health management and resources.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical-surgical nursing role.
Current certifications in PALS, BLS/BCLS, and ACLS are required.
Strong experience with EPIC electronic health records is essential.
