Description
We are seeking a skilled and flexible Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room practices, with a focus on Transplant, Cardiology, and Vascular procedures. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in trauma care and be prepared to adapt to varying schedules, including overtime and weekend shifts based on unit needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room environment.
- Collaborate with the surgical team during procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments, monitoring patients’ conditions closely.
- Utilize the EPIC medication system for accurate medication management.
- Assist with the education and guidance of patients and their families regarding post-operative care.
Qualifications:
- Current South Carolina Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with the EPIC system.
- Experience in Transplant, Cardiology, and Vascular nursing.
- Proven experience in a Trauma Level 1 facility.
- Flexibility to accommodate varied schedules, including on-call duties and weekend shifts.
- This position is not open to first-time travelers.
