We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool team. This position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to various units within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care and must be willing to float to multiple departments as needed.

Position Information

• Role: RN
• Department: Float Pool
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48
• Weekend Requirement: 75% of weekends required
• Call Requirements: None
• Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience, including 1 year of travel experience
• Floating Requirements: Must be able to float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU based on experience
• Patient Ratios: 1:2 (1:3 in Intermediate Care Units)

Qualifications

• Must Have:
  • 3 years of ICU experience
• Preferred Skillset:
  • Experience with general ICU patients, such as those who are sedated, intubated, and on pressors
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
