Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Shift Details

• Shift Type: Night Shift
• Shift Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing appropriate interventions as necessary.
• Document patient health information and care provided accurately.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• Active and valid Ohio Registered Nurse license or Compact State license.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Willingness to obtain NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification prior to start.
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty area required for submission; charge nurse references accepted.

Orientation Requirements

During orientation, candidates will be required to complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment, achieving acceptable scores on both assessments.
